ИСТОРИЯ СОЗДАНИЯ ГИПЕРТЕКСТОВЫХ СИСТЕМ: СОВРЕМЕННОСТЬ ИЛИ ПРОШЛОЕ

Термин «гипертекст» вошёл в научный обиход в ХХ веке, однако существование гипертекста относится к гораздо более раннему периоду – «догутенберговской» эпохе. Перспектива получить полное представление о данном явлении вытекает из того, как учёные интерпретируют историю его появления. В основном она связывается с технологическим развитием, предполагающим потенциальные направления, по которым такое развитие могло бы двигаться в будущем. Статья даёт представление о развитии гипертекста, поскольку сам термин появляется в широком диапазоне литературы по этому вопросу более четверти века назад. С некоторыми небольшими вариациями его история обычно используется для представления гипертекста как концептуального и сконструированного объекта. Статья не претендует называться оригинальной исторической работой, однако в ней синтезируется ряд исследований истории вопроса, которые раньше не были представлены в таком ракурсе. Рассматривается период становления гипертекстовых исследований на Западе с середины сороковых до конца шестидесятых годов ХХ века. Анализ данных и их совместное рассмотрение поднимает ряд новых вопросов и в конечном счете обогащает наше понимание гипертекста.

The term "hypertext" is used in science since the twentieth century; however, the existence of hypertext refers to a much earlier period - the "pre-Gutenberg" era. The prospect of getting a complete picture of this phenomenon follows from how scientists interpret the history of its appearance. Basically, it is associated with technological development, suggesting potential directions in which such development could move in the future. The article gives an insight into the development of hypertext, as the term itself appears in a wide range of literature on the subject for more than a quarter of a century. With some slight variations, its story is commonly used to represent hypertext as a conceptual and constructed object. The article does not pretend to be called an original historical work; however, it synthesizes a number of studies of the history of the issue that have not previously been presented in this perspective. The period of the formation of hypertext research in the West from the mid-forties to the end of the sixties of the twentieth century is considered. Analyzing the data and looking at them together raises a number of new questions and ultimately enriches our understanding of hypertext.
