НАУЧНОЕ ЗНАЧЕНИЕ ИЗДАНИЙ «АВЕСТЫ» С КОММЕНТАРИЯМИ

В статье дается краткое описание изданий «Авесты», в которых имеются комментарии к авестийским географическим названиям. Начиная с XVIII в. и до настоящего времени «Авеста» издавалась на английском, немецком, французском и русском языках. Сравнительный анализ изданий показал, что по мере накопления научных знаний в области лингвистики, археологии, топонимии и других наук комментарии относительно отождествления географических названий «Авесты» становятся все более аргументированными.

SCIENTIFIC SIGNIFICANCE OF THE “AVESTA” EDITIONS WITH COMMENTARIES

In the article the editions of the “Avesta” with the commentaries to geographical denominations are considered.  The “Avesta” has been published in English, Germany, French and Russian languages from the 18^th century up to now. The comparative analysis of these editions indicated that due to gathering the scientific knowledge in archaeology, linguistics, toponymy and the others sciences the commentaries on identification of geographical denominations are getting more argued.
