On July 14 within the press conference  the rector of RTSU Nurali Salikhov the award ceremony of participants of a competition among students of journalist department  i of 2016-2017 academic year was held. These are students journalists who take active part in activity of radio laboratory and educational television station of RTSU and won a victory during the various nominations. Certificates of honor, mementoes and monetary prizes to winners were awarded by the rector of the university.

In the first nomination "Journalist of the Year" the jury's victory, being consisted of  representatives of the Department of History and Theory of Journalism and Electronic Media was awarded tp the second year student  of journalism department, 201 group Azamat Ziyayev. Azamat is caled by his teachers  a creative person and a talented journalist. He  participates actively in the work of the radio RTSU from the first year and has already worked as a reporter, editor, announcer, analyst, scriptwriter, creator of his own, author's program.  

The jury recognized winner of the second category "Universal journalist" as a student of the 2nd year of journalism department, 201 group Aziz Karaev. During two years of studying at the RTSU, Aziz mastered the basics of camera art and editing art, removed and edited a large number of videos, develops and improves as a journalist, prepares radio and television reports, reads news blocks professionally and has the experience of creating a documentary.

There are two winers at the nomination "Operator of the Year", and both are students of the third year of journalist department, they are  Saidmaruf Dovudov, 301 group, and Jumabek Sultonov, 302 group. Most of the events of the year were filmed by these guys. Saidmaruf and Jumabek loved the work of the operator, they treat the camera with real trepidation.  

One of the most important genres and methods in journalism is interview. A good interview is impossible without a talented interviewer. In the nomination "Best Interviewer", Kamelia Samoylenko won the victory. This year, Kamelia graduated from the RTSU with a red diploma. She is a creative person, a favorite of the journalism department, who prepared a huge amount of various materials for the student newspaper, site, radio and TV and created an author's program on RTSU radio "Visiting Camellia".

Three journalist students won the nomination "Best mobile reporter": Sukhrob Babayev, 301 group, Fotima Avezova, 302 group, and Parviz Sodatkadamov, 202 group. These guys are really the most mobile, they are always ready for action, always in help.

Most of the winners are third-year students. So, in the nomination "Best reportage" the jury's victory was awarded to the student of 301 groups of the journalism department Hanifa Navruzshoeva with a report about the meeting of the RTSU rector with the ambassadors of the Russian language. Hanifa proved that she possesses the capabilities necessary for a journalist and is able to prepare high-quality reports for both radio and television, she can always be relied on and she, it is important to note, is a true patriot of her country.

Another nomination, dedicated to the genre of reporting, is "The Best Specific Report". The winner of the jury  was awareded for the radio report about JamForume-2016, which was prepared by Navruz Karimov, a student of the 1st year of the journalism department of International Journalism. In the persomality of Navruz teachers see a real  journalist, he can perfectly combine such unique features as  high mobility and analytical mind, his materials are operational, full of facts and different individual style.

Today one of the most important areas in journalism is environmental journalism. The nomination "The Best Report on Environmental Issues" won the victory of Sabina Salieva and Victoria Ermolaeva. Sabina and Victoria are the third year student of in the 301 group. They are capable students and together prepared a television report about the round table "Environmental journalism at the junction of politics, economics, society."

An important element of the television report is the standup. The winners in the nomination "Best standup" were two students of the 301 group Karina Aminova and Nilufar Usmanova. Nilufar and Karina are among the best students of the journalism department, they are always ready to learn and work and make teachers happy with their journalistic work.

The main person of news releases on television is the announcer. "The best TV-announcer" was recognized by the jury as a student of the third year of journalism department, 301 groups of Farhod Boymatov. Farhod;s teachers were able to see the vocation for the profession of a television announcer in him due to this he became the first broadcaster of the TV news of the university. Moreover, the cadres with him as a speaker of the television studio RTSU, like Jamily Nazarova, were shown in the reports of the two leading Russian channels.

Finally the nomination "The Reader of the Year". In the honor of anticiation of such holidays as Mother's Day and Victory Day, journalists, students wrote poems on the radio RTSU outstanding poets in Russian, Tajik and English languages. The best, according to the jury, was the fulfillment of the four students of 1 course of direction "International Journalism": Dzhamilya Nazarova (in Russian), Nilufar Berdieva (in English), and Fazliddin Nasridin Faridun Kholboeva (in Tajik). It is no coincidence that the organizers appointed Jamilya, along with Faridun as the leaders of the ceremony.

Along with the winners for their active participation in the radio laboratory and educational TV studio RTSU jury noted the following students: Alisher Dodohonov (301 Group), Mastura Gulyamova (301 Group), Manizha Artykova (201 Group), Nilufar Nabiyeva (201 Group), Tahmina Ahmedzhanova, (201 Group) , Yusuf Saidov (202 group) and Sairam Nodirshova, a graduate of the RTSU of this year. They were given gratitude and memorable gifts.

The ceremony of awarding the congratulatory speech of the rector of the Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University, Professor Nurali Salikhov was completed.

The organizers of the contest - the Department of History and Theory of Journalism and Electronic Media - promise to turn it into an annual tradition at the Journalism Department.
