ВОСТОЧНЫЕ МОТИВЫ В ТВОРЧЕСТВЕ А.И.КУПРИНА (НА ПРИМЕРЕ легенды «Демир-Кая»)

В статье, исходя из имеющегося в современном литературоведении фактического материала об особенностях отношения А.И.Куприна к Востоку, обосновывается актуальность исследования восточных мотивов в произведениях А.И.Куприна, в частности, легенды «Демир-Кая», выдвигается авторская версия источников восточных мотивов в творчестве писателя в целом и непосредственно в указанной легенде. Прежде всего, в статье рассматриваются мотив убийства преступником предателя, мотив странноприимства и мотив показателя прощения грешника цветением сухой головешки.

На основе проведённого анализа делается вывод, что источниками мотивов легенды «Демир-Кая» послужили писателю, во-первых, распространённый в фольклоре евразийских народов бродячий сюжет прощения Богом преступника за убийство предателя; во-вторых, присущий всем религиям, возникшим на Востоке, мотив гостеприимства; в-третьих, встречающийся в суфийской и христианской житийной литературе мотив благородного разбойника и чуда воскресения души грешника.

Указывается на наличие в анализируемой легенде масонских мотивов и символов, проводится сопоставительный анализ мотива предательства в романе М.А.Булгакова «Мастер и Маргарита». С целью выяснения восточного происхождения мотива предательства автор обращается к исследованиям концепта «предательство» в Библии и Коране.

ORIENTAL MOTIFS IN THE WORKS OF A. I. KUPRIN (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE LEGEND "DEMIR-KAYA")

In the article, based on the factual material available in modern literary criticism about the peculiarities of A.I. Kuprin's attitude to the East, the relevance of the study of oriental motives in A.I. Kuprin's works is substantiated, in particular, the legend "Demir-Kai" motives in the work of the writer as a whole and directly in the said legend. First of all, the article examines the motive for the murder of a traitor by a criminal, the motive for hospitality and the motive for the indicator of the sinner's forgiveness by the flowering of a dry firebrand.

On the basis of the analysis carried out, it is concluded that the sources of the motives of the legend "Demir-Kaya" were the writer, firstly, the wandering plot of God's forgiveness of a criminal for the murder of a traitor, widespread in the folklore of the Eurasian peoples; secondly, the motive of hospitality inherent in all religions that arose in the East; thirdly, the motive of the noble robber and the miracle of the resurrection of the sinner's soul, found in Sufi and Christian hagiographic literature.

The presence of Masonic motifs and symbols in the analyzed legend is pointed out, a comparative analysis of the motive of betrayal in the novel by M.A. Bulgakov “The Master and Margarita” is carried out. In order to clarify the eastern origin of the motive of betrayal, the author turns to research on the concept of "betrayal" in the Bible and the Koran.
